Earthlingo is a language learning game that offers an enjoyable and educational experience. Recently awarded the 2023 Australian Game Developer Award for Excellence in Impactful Games, it has proven its worth.

Immersed in the game, you take on the role of Maco, an alien exploring Earth while simultaneously learning one of its 28 diverse languages.

One of the standout features of Earthlingo is its unique approach to learning. Every item you encounter in the game presents an opportunity to learn a new word. By cleverly associating each word with a specific location within the game world, Earthlingo enhances your ability to recall what you've learned.

As you progress in your linguistic journey, you'll be able to utilize your ever-growing vocabulary and newly acquired sentences to defeat evil robots and save the humans inhabiting this beautiful blue planet.

Earthlingo boasts an impressive range of instructional content. It teaches over 1,000 words in 28 different languages, all completely free. Among the languages available are Arabic, Burmese, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Korean, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Uzbek, and Vietnamese.

If you wish to take your language learning experience to the next level and dive even deeper into grammar structures and concepts, you have the option to purchase sentence mini-games. These mini-games unlock over 30 grammar points (with more to come).
